Did you find your joy this week? Did you actually look for your joy? I can find joy each day and the more I look, the more I find to be joyful about and I can feel my energy level climbing. I found myself singing in the car yesterday a song that my Granddaughter and I used to sing when we were in the car alone after going to Church. We would sing loudly and then start shouting out all the great things we had to be joyful about. That set the tone for the day. Those were the days, joyful memories!
There has been one consistent thing this week in Rockwall County. We have had an ever changing masterpiece displayed across the sky ever day. Stunning cobalt blue skies and dancing white fluffy clouds! Driving down the road I constantly wanted to stop to take pictures or enjoy the moment, but the rest of the world seems to be in a hurry. I think I am the only one enjoying these magnificent displays. No one else seems to be giving a second glance.
There is something serene and peaceful about early Sunday mornings and no other day ever comes close to that Sunday morning feeling. I am writing this before daylight so I don't know what the sky over Rockwall will be or what the day will bring but I am hoping for more of those splendid skies. Whatever happens, there will be joy to be found.
I look for joy in every day and am especially thankful for all the joy I found this week. Here is a few random joyful moments I experienced this week.
