Stormy weather on it's way to Mesquite NV

Real Estate Agent with Desert Gold Realty - Mesquite NV Homes For Sale Mesquite NV Realtor

Mesquite has "enjoyed" a hot weather streak for about 4 months.  Wednesday, I washed my car.  It rained that evening.  Thursday, I washed my dog - it rained as soon as I got him to the dog park.  Now we are waiting for a storm to hit - I see it coming from the southeast, usually I can see Scenic Arizona from here.

Just wish it were a bigger storm to help put out some of the fires threatening folks in the southwest states.

Mesquite NV Weather - storm coming

And I am going to do a rain dance for my friends in the Black Forest area near Colorado Springs, CO - they are on fire watch.  :(

Mesquite NV Weather - pretty predictable = sunny almost every day!

Hi Virgina, I could have told you it would rain when you washed the car but would not have guessed that the dog washing was followed by rain as well. It is going to be a hot summer and the more rain the better. It would be fun to do a rain dance while it was raining. I love walking in the rain! As my mother would say," He doesn't have the good sense to come out of the rain " and it is still true to this day. LOL

Isn't that the way it goes Virginia? You can make money betting people now about the weather and just wash one or the other! Have a good time storm watching!

btw, I use the same font as you on my posts: comic sans MS.

Hi Virginia,

It is always a sure bet that it will rain if you wash your car. I like rain storms and we need rain here too. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Virginia, we sure do need the rain.  We've had a lot of menacing clouds the last couple of days, but not much moisture.  Gorgeous photo too!

Hoping those folks who need rain get it soon. Loved the story about washing the car, then the dog. It does seem to prompt the rain events...

Now it's August 5th, and I'm wondering if you're back to hot and sunny.

Virginia -- the easiest way to make it rain -- of course, a car wash -- it seems to happen every time.

Virginia,  I'll join you with your rain dance.  I wish we could all dance and put out all the fires across the nation.

Virginia ~ there are still many places that need more rain ... we'll have to advise those folks to wash their dogs LOL!

Now eastern Washington has raging fires ... we're hoping for some rain soon to help fight the spread.

OMG, Virginia, I started laughing so hard, I choked on my water.  So, it's all YOUR fault, LOL.  Seriously, I'm sure you're glad you got some much needed rain and here's hoping your positive thoughts send rain to other areas who need it so much.  Heck, maybe if this trend continues - people will PAY you to wash your dog, LOL.

Hi Virginia .. I know it's been a couple of months but I sure hope you got the rain you wished for. It does sound like you need to just wash your car more often .. or your dog :-)

I think I will teach my dog to wash my car - will be handy for the next drought.
