The latest housing numbers from Broward County--

Highlites:  There are currently 9,081 properties on the market in Broward County--3,877 Single-Family Homes and 5,204 condominiums, which represents a 28.5% decrease from one year ago.  3.9 months supply—Remember, a 6-9 months supply is ‘normal.’

REOs (Foreclosures): Currently of the 9,081 properties—659 are REOs or foreclosures, which number is down 26.6% from one year ago and reflects a 1.3 months supply.  There are 1,495 Short Sales on the market, which represents a 52% decrease from a year ago—and a 3 months supply.

There are 6926 non-short sale, non-REOs properties on the market (non-distressed), which represents a 19.6% decrease from a year ago.

Inventory is decreasing significantly in Broward County.
