I just loved Chermie's post today, so I had to share it.

How many times have you worked with an agent/owner?  You present your buyers requests and next thing you know, they explode with emotion!

Check out what Cherimie has to say about the "Most Difficult Client Ever".

Original content by Cherimie Crane

After almost ten years in an industry known to discourage sobriety and encourage aging, I fancy myself as experienced. Having sold hundreds of homes, shown thousands, inspected inspections to the point of delirium and argued appraisal with Shakespearean eloquence; I consider myself knowledgeable and well versed in the topsy –turvy realm of real estate.

All that is fine and dandy until I stare through the eyes of my most difficult client to date; standing a mere 5’3” with a mouth the size of Texas and a coffee cup to match, the mirror proclaims the challenge. Presently I own two properties. I live in a charming waterfront community in an adorable condo that has been home to me for almost six years. Although it was built in the late 70’s, its character, location, and view had me at Hello! Oh the renovations I have made. Just as I would advise my clients, I understand that money may not be made up in the sell; however, I have lived comfortably and quite happily.

Obviously somewhat of a late bloomer, I managed to be adult enough to get married. Almost a year into my marriage, another milestone lands in my hesitant lap. It is time for me to purchase a house. Luckily, I am considerably smarter than I look and even I know there is no better time to purchase than RIGHT NOW. It is time for me to put my charming condo on the market.

Everyone loves their home; everyone has memories and sentiment where walls and wonder meet. The laughter, smiles, tears and devoted debates within these walls have brought joy in ways I didn’t know was possible. It is clear, I am the hesitant seller. I am fairly certain my condo can rival the Taj Mahal. Yes, I am that seller, lord help my Realtor. It was a smart purchase, even in a tough time. Living below my means has now allowed me to move towards my future. I am grateful for this home and the years spent under its roof.

It is time for me to plan for my future, buy a home that will one day house the certain-to-be stubborn child/children that my Mom swears I have earned. Time to follow the advice I have recited with ease, tackle the projects I have proposed to many others, and make an undoubtedly smart decision to purchase during one of the best markets in recent history.

There is no question my Realtor has her work cut out for her. I suppose it shall be just fine as I can’t fire myself, well, at least I don’t think I can.
