Good morning Mona. This is truly incredible. Hard to believe it is real....but then there's the picture. It does look like a cape, or a gorgeous pin. Super picture. Have a great day.
Hi Mona,
Looks like a giant....moth, don't laugh but the name of the moth escapes me.
Great way to start the day seeing these beautiful moths, this is something you don't get to see everyday.
ps. I loved your respone to Conrads post about being a secret agent. (faces on cards). Like you, I will stick to my logo.
Have a great day in Dillsboro, North Carolina.
Best, clint mckie
Wow...before I read that it was real, I thought it was just a cool piece of art the owners had put up. That's really awesome. And after you said that it looks like a cap, that's all I see!
Sheila, if you could train it to just sit on your shoulder, there wouldn't be a need to put a pin on it...what a conversation starter that would be.
Hi Clint, I don't know the name either and I've seen then before. Never flying though. Glad you liked my response to Conrad.
Than, it's big enough there might even be a little weight to it.
Patty, it would be a pretty cool piece of art and this is the house of an artist so it wouldn't surprise me.
Cindy, thanks. I am too.
wonderful photo... the colors are amazing... That is one big and beautiful moth.. and great way to get in an ad on your listing too.. Love it!
William, its been so long since I lived in Chula Vista that I can't remember what the moths looked like but if you've got to have them flying about, it's nice if they can be attractive.
Hi Sheila, they are extraordinary colors for sure.
Hi Mona,
Wow I thought it was a wall hanging at first. It is beautiful and so amazing. Thanks for sharing.
Kristin, it would make a very awesome wall sculpture, tapestry or yard art subject.
