Wordless Wednesday - A Lotta Bull

This is a most interesting sculpture we came across when visiting the Hole In The Rock near Moab, Utah last week. It's made entirely of rusted tools, scrap metal and "parts", fit seemlessly together to make a rather impressive bull. I don't know the artist's name, but would love to see more of his/her work.

Gretchen -- I imagine that it was a bit warm down there at the time.  Why they would need a sign to tell people not to try to ride the bull -- when the metal would be so warm is beyond me.

Gretchen and Mel~ The artist is Lyle Nichlols.  (Look at the card underneath the bull in your photo.)  He did a piece that we have in our local Performing Arts Center.  Ours is a horse!  He's from Paisade, Colorado.

Hi Gretchen,

Very neat sculpture. I was expecting a bull and not a robot made out of recycled parts. Whoever did this is very creative. I like when they take old stuff and turn it into art. Thanks for sharing.
