Marketing Bozo Alert: Must Die. I need Your Help.

Services for Real Estate Pros with Virtual Pictures Corp. (VPiX)

Another SPAM in my mailbox. It never stops.

SPAM is like cockroaches! Even with the best insecticide and my old, beat-up pointed Tony Llama boots, I can never seem to kill them all. It's soooo frustrating!

This arrived in my mailbox today. And I keep getting them/ 5 to 12 of these a week.

I've had enough.

NowYo SPAM Alert

Note the obvious issues with this email.

1.) It's crapily formatted. Big give-a-way here.

2.) The email SAYS: it's from and someone named "John" but NO last name. Hmmmmm.

3.) Unsubscribe is from yet another email: blah blah blah

Here's the bigger problem: You CLICK that and you confirm your email and you get MORE spam.

Gee, isn't that just special?

I've had enough with jerks like this that do nothing more than waste my time and interrupt my day with SPAM and fradulent offers with not-so-cleverly disguised website domains.

The jerk behind this whole SCAM is in Ohio, and here he is:

Registrant Contact:
   Greg Martini
   8040 Hosbrook Rd. Suite 400.
   Cincinnati, 45236

Administrative Contact:
   Greg Martini (
   8040 Hosbrook Rd.
   Suite 400
   Cincinnati, OH 45236

Name Servers:
Creation date: 07 Nov 2011 01:59:00
Expiration date: 06 Nov 2012 17:59:00

I want your help. There's money in it for you when we win. $1,000 per email. (Yes, REALLY. Read the Colorado Anti-SPAM Law.) If anyone has had this same email or a similar one, all you have to do is simply print a copy of this and mail it to me at:

c/o Bart Wilson
590 Hwy 105 Suite 276
Monument, CO 80132

I will schedule an appointment to visit with the assistant District Attorneys office to file a formal SPAM complaint against them for violating the Colorado SPAM laws. If you've never read it, here it is. It's quite toothy.

This email clearly cites " clear intent to defraud the receiver by disguising where the email originally came from," and this is why in Colorado, the penalties are quite severe for those foolhardy enough to test it.

Once the case is filed against them, they have 30 days to appear.

If they fail to appear, a motion for default judgement is issued and a bench warrant is then issued for their arrest. Suffice it to say, it gets expensive and uglier for them from there.

Mail me a hard copy of the emails like these you've received and I'll take it from here. I'll post progress on this case as I get updates.

Hope it works out well Bart, you should also send this to the attny general in Ohio, they probably already have a file on this guy and it would not hurt to get in line for that settlement if they ever collect anything from him.

Hey Bob,

Not necessary for us to do anything for Ohio.

The authorities here in Colorado will work with the DA's office in Ohio on these matters.

These are state and federal violations and are not a civil issue. We could file in Magistrate court but the jurisdiction is not applicable here. The local magistrate courts are not able to handle SPAM complaints nor are they able to hear or make rulings on Federal laws. These are reserved for the higher courts, such as district court and federal courts.

So once we file with the Colorado assistant DA's office, the ball is in motion and it gets painful and ugly for the idiots responsible for this in Ohio.

Ugh, I WISH I had time to deal with that. I just delete and move on. I can probably make the money spending that amount of time on the business rather than trying to catch them. I get things ALL the time and my clients - the closer they get to the top - get even more spam - SEO spam! UGH... its frustrating. Good luck on your venture! Hopefully someone will walk away with the moola.

I keep getting garbage email from office(five numbers or so), like (office  Can't figure out how to get rid of them since the web addresses are all different.  Seem to happen when I posted some pics onto pInterest. Just saying. What a pain. At least I can just search for the word office and delete them in a blob.

Someone texted me a couple days ago about a very tempting Domain Name he was selling. When I asked for more info - he would only give me a First Name "Steven".  But how do you get rid of a texter?
