Montrose, CO Depot Day Celebrating 100 Years of The Denver Rio Grande Railroad. Mark your calendar for August 11, 2012 for Montrose, CO Depot Day celebrating the old train station's 100 years of service to the community. The old Denver Rio Grande Railroad Station still continues to serve Montrose, CO today as the home of the Montrose County Historical Museum.
The celebration starts bright and early at 7:30 AM with a fun run/walk. After that you can fill up at a pancake breakfast sponsored by the local Kiwanis Club. There's something for everyone with activities for the kids, a museum visit, vendors, food and a classic car show.
