Selling a home in Fishers is looking easy these days! For the month of June there were 195 homes sold compared with 185 a year ago and year to date there have been 797 homes sold compared with 717 a year ago. That is a 11% increase 2012 over 2011!
Our pricing is still struggling though, the average price this year is $223,500 compared with $234,000 a year ago, so a 4% decline. In the last few months we have seen the market shift so that I expect very soon we will see pricing starting to increase, with a little luck it might even become a seller’s market! And of course pricing is still very much driven by neighborhood; neighborhoods like Berkley Grove, Burberry, Hickory Woods, River Ridge still are seeing higher prices than a year ago.
