When you send a mailing or create an ad that promotes you or your team, are you thinking about the reaction of other agents? If your business is stable, and you have your fair share of real estate transactions and listings in your marketplace, do you really care what other agents are thinking?
I’m never concerned. If you don’t promote yourself and your business, no one else will; if you don’t shout out about your accomplishments, no one else will; and if the people in your marketplace don’t know you, you’ll never get new business.
We can all play nicely and continue to promote our brand. We can be the leader, and continue to work with everyone. The more productive the agent, the less likely that agent is concerned about how other agents are viewing the marketing. Our main concern is our ability to reach as many prospects as possible with each marketing piece.
Our purpose is to make the phone ring. We are not tiptoeing around the marketplace. We are coming through as a roar of thunder and our intention is to shake the fruit from the tree and capture our future business. We market like we mean it!!!
