This handsome fellow is over the door of what I call the National Greenhouse. The Botanical Gardens are on Independence Avenue at the foot of the Capitol. It's one of those places where you can go in with a camera and have a set of Friday Foto shots for the next ent years. So more shot of the interior will show up in later posts.
