Marriage happens whether we have that piece of paper the govenment demands upon having sex. Intimacy is marriage and marriage is intimacy. The two can not be separated without a marriage being a sham. It is why the divorce rate is so high. This post was obviously a joke yet there is much truth in it. What needs to happen once we are in love is for our heart to start leading and not our brain anyway. Marriage is always putting one's wants and needs behind our spouse's. That is the key to marriage that works. If there is any narcissism in a man or neurosis in a woman, the marriage is in trouble. I'm afraid that when I look at most men, I see narcissism in over 50% of them... thus the divorce rate.
