In building a BEST you as a professional business person for your clients as well as a human being in your personal life, ONE key ingredient to work on within yourself as a trait is
R-E-S-P-E-C-T
Yes I know there is a song that spells that out but it is recognizing two key things:
1) we and they are imperfect, and acknowleding that what gets on your nerves some days is just flaws of being human will allow you to as a foundation have more TOLERANCE with people
2) the second key point is asking yourself is what you are doing or saying, HURTING another in some way?
If you are hurting someone you are not respecting them.
The Golden Rule as a yardstick, is how would you feel if YOU were treated this way? If not good, there is your answer on the proper respectful way to talk or do things with others.
Respect really is not that hard in society, but in so many people in their character it almost seems like a lost art form or something. Respectulness of others, parents, teachers, co-workers, strangers, significant others, the less fortunate, freinds, the older or poor or infirmed. It does come down to core decency, and flat out some people just choose to live indecent abhorrent lives. Can't change that but we all can work on being respectful ourselves.
