It's an exciting time in real estate right now in the greater Tucson area of SE Arizona. Builders are building, sellers are selling, and buyers are coming from all directions to find themselves a "deal" before it's too late.

Today's travels take us to the lovely community of SkyRanch in NW Tucson/Marana, AZ. It's located less than five minutes from popular Dove Mountain and the Ritz Carlton area, traveling east along Tangerine Road. A gated community, it originally began as a custom home site. As the recession took its toll, Meritage eventually moved in and started building their "green, energy-efficient" homes with many assumed builder-upgrades being part of their standard package.
I've had the pleasure of selling both Meritage New Construction and resale, and I like their workmanship. The homes in Skyranch are no exception.
Now Meritage is expanding their new home construction just north and west of their original site. I've noticed that MLS prices are changing regularly, and the overall pricing is going up. I'd recommend moving NOW if you want to get your best "deal" in Skyranch, Dove Mountain Area, Marana, AZ.

Resale homes for sale range from $284,000 to $399,900 with an original custom home listed at $795,000. All of the homes have been built in 2006 or later.

New construction homes range from $251,919 to 4403,892, depending upon size, lot, views, and amenities. Lots range from .13 of an acre to .18 and go up to 3,147 overall square feet.
As always, remember that when you visit a new home site, bring your agent with you the FIRST TIME. Site agents always, always work for the builder, and in any real estate transaction, you want your own agent working towards your best interests.
