By
Real Estate Agent WV0026375

corn on the cobThis is the best, no hassle way, to cooking corn on the cob. It is easy, with no flavor loss in the water, and  fast with no mess!  The only reason most people don’t like to fix corn on the cob is that you have to remove the husk and silk from the cob.  Trying to remove as much of the  silk as possible can be a job.  Well, not any more!

The gentleman in the below video will show you an easier, faster, tastier corn method!  Truly amazing.

Rebecca- we tried it and it works!  We usually  remove the silk, but leave the husks on.  We tie the top and place it on the grill that way. But, sometimes we need to remove the silk and husks first and this really is an easy method. .

Rebecca,

Good suggestion, except those of us who don't like microwaves.  In order to easily remove the silk, you wet a papertowel and rubbing it against the grain...silk comes right off...LOL, where there is a will, there is a way.  A

Anita, yes soooo easy.

Alexandria, I know microwaving food is not good...there are many other ways to get the silk off...like the one you mentioned.

Dale, my husband and I also just love, love corn on the cob.

Holy cow! Who would have thought! I am so trying this. My only concern is that I actually prefer my corn slightly undercooked so it's crisp and not chewy so I wonder if it will be too cooked for my taste. Guess I'll only know by trying.
