This afternoon I went to see a super nice customer in Tuckahoe NY. I can't wait to help her with her flooring - she's had major buckling (due to some water damage). She is exactly the type of customer I like - nice, friendly, thoughtful and inquisitive.
It seems that she had stumbling across my blog on TheFlooringGirl.com. She found my Flooring FAQ page and loved it. Apparently, she had a bunch of questions, which is completely understandable given her flooring situation and that so many people in the same building have been having similar issues.
She loved that each of the questions on the FAQ page had its own blog post fully explaining the answer, and she thought that was so cool and helpful. She had read many of them...and even printed some out. It was really cool.
Later in the conversation, I asked her what this building used to be (I had heard from another tenant that it used to be a factory). My customer, said yes, it was the old Revlon plant! My jaw dropped...and then she said, oh yeah, you used to work at Revlon, didn't you? I couldn't believe it...she had read the "About me" page and actually remembered what I used to do! I was so impressed.
So, like I said, I can't wait to help this customer. I have tons of estimates and combos to figure out for her...but I don't mind one bit! These are the types of customers I love!
