Why Kerrie is Too Old to be the Community Manager at ActiveRain

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with RealEstate.com

I have recently been enlightened that 25 year olds are the entitled owners of the social media job sector. Let’s face it. I was PRESENT at the birth of social media. In a way, I’m like the God of social media. Clearly Kerrie missed the boat and is just a poser.

Here are my reasons why she’s just too old, and should let me, the boy prince of Facebook, Google+ genius, Twitter legend, handle her job.

1. 25 year olds have fun: As your community manager, I promise that you’ll feel left out as I will post pictures of that hip party I went to last night. It was super popular. All three of my friends, who were there as well, liked it. More proof that I know which type of stuff is interesting to share.

2. Lots of free time: As a 25 year old, I barely have any life experience but that’s just because I live at home with my parents. I guarantee you I’ll have loads of time in between watching videos on Youtube and playing with my dog to answer your comments and concerns.

3. It’s just beyond her: Kerrie, if you’re reading this, it’s nothing personal. You just don’t understand that since I grew up with this, it comes naturally to me. I mean, do you get why they call it social media? Cause it’s so social.

4. Social media defines my generation: My generation is proud of many things. We've given birth to Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Jersey Shore. In fact, we just might have contributed the most to the world in the whole history of forever. But since my generation is defined by social media, then clearly I deserve her job. You can thank my generation later.

I could go on, but I’ll save it for later. Luckily, you can see Kerrie and I duke it out this Thursday on Google+. I sure hope she can handle the truth I’m about to bring.

Dale Samples: I know right? This older generation simply doesn't get me and the outstanding values I represent. I mean, Jersey Shore is a masterful work of art that captures the human experience we all face. What other brilliant things could we expect from a generation that produces such masterpieces?

Phil Leng: I know seriously. Once you're past 21 then that vast amount of knowledge you've collected just starts to slip away. Even better than people who are 25 are people who are 21.

Richie Naggar: I think you may be thinking of Zeus. Understandable because Zeus and Kerrie are pretty old but I would be irresponsible if I didn't point out such an error.

Eric, You better pray the New Yawker in Kerrie doesn't get out or you're going to be testing the coverage of your medical insurance.

Karen: In response to your previous comments, I am partial to daisies, although I am told those are inappropriate for somber events. Perhaps Lilies? Thankfully this chat will be recorded so I will have incriminating proof if she tries anything!

Kim & Kristine: Speaking of kool-aid, since I did grow up drinking it, I'm probably the best one out there who should run the Kool-Aid company don't you think? It seems only fair.
