Hi Suzanne, You're right. That is not what we want to do.  It sure seems that we have to though to get ourselves out to "more of the web" and gain recognition so we can be found to secure leads.  Once we have enough leads, perhaps I will then be able to delegate to a Virtual Assistant (LOL) Congratulations on your word press blog.  Keep us posted as to how it goes.  I have one but I do not seem to get much attention from it. Guess I am doing something wrong. There is so much to learn with social media it seems. Good Luck!

It seems with tech, we are becoming experts on work around. Your post just gave me an idea for a post for next week.  What you need is a strategy and be on select places on the web, where what you have to say is valuable.  Buttering yourself all over the universe is not necessary, and that is my contrarian viewpoint.  We have proof of concept with our site and our clients sites.  What you need to do is sell real estate, not be all over the place.  A

That is the big question is it?  How much is just too much, that you aren't even doing what you are supposed to be doing---being a real estate agent and not a social marketing guru.

I have backed off a lot from all the social media stuff since it is just too much!  I can't be selling real estate, getting my MAI/ Certified residential appraisal license and work part time at an appraisal company!

I just make sure not to miss my blogging on my wordpress site. 

Suzanne- we can get so bogged down (or carried away) with blogging and social media that it is really easy to forget the purpose of all of this.  Good for you for attemping to do your own WP Site!

Yes we all face this question on almost a daily basis as to th balance of socila media/blogging versus actual real Estate work. I peronally have enough to do already every day. good luck with yor new blog and maybe web site.

I was wondering when you had time to work...but I guess you are addressing that. I might have to get the Wordpress blog, too. Is it easy to copy the blogs over to AR?

I have a Word Press sight when I was writting for theat on-line paper.  I need to revive it.

I like the idea.  And, Michael's comment is priceless.  Thanks for the help on the header for my blog.  It isn't quite right, but it is a start!

Suzanne - As soon as you get in the habit of posting, it will become easier and easier.  I actually use some auto post programs to keep up with my postings.

Suzanne the answer is Simple just like Michael said it ...:))) now if that is not possible then what are you doing from 9pm to 2am? hopefully typing away:) Let me know how this Wordpress thing is working out for you. I have been meaning to do it for the past two years:))
