Ducks are clearly one of our favorite birds.
These were sighted in the Woodlands at one of the many parks and lakes interspersed throughout the wonderfully forested neighborhoods.
Not far from this cluster was a young man and his children with some sort of throwable food.... bread, I think. He seemed to be enjoying being the center of attention.
There are probably many people who indulge in that pursuit. It is so rewarding to satisfy the needs of others. Even ducks appear to appreciate efforts of those who spend their time helping others.
The lake features along with the parks and walking trails found throughout the Woodlands enhance the homey feelings experienced by more and more residents . Having watched this area grow ever since its beginning concepts in the 1970s, the size seems astounding.
Wouldn't it be a treat to have a place close to your house that could provide rest and tranquility daily. A place you could benefit from without upkeep costs? Other than the obligatory HOA fees. A place where you could even encourage an occasional feeding frenzy. Just Ducky!
