Why I love the Snickers candy bar?
Snickers are the very first candy bar I cannot wait to get my hands
on. My mouth begins to salivate and I get all warm fuzzes when that
perfect size beautiful wrapped piece of heaven is in my hand.
Why should I get excited about a snickers bar one might ask? Why not a
Twix bar, or reeces pieces or even a milky way? Just as wonderfully
delicious and beautifully wrapped and tantalizing to all my senses
especially my taste!
Well let me tell you why the Snickers candy bar has this adult grown woman still enticed, excited
joyful, giving me complete utter happiness .
One word GRANDMA ANN!!!!
When I was a child my Grandma Ann would give me snickers bars. It felt
like to me all the time like everyday. But in reality it maybe was
what twice a month? It never failed, when we saw grandma and
grandpa's car pull up to visit I did not have to doubt I knew my
Grandma Ann had some sort of candy.
And yes it was usually a snickers bar. Not quite sure why she chose
that particular chocolate bar but who cares I was a kid I would have
been happy with a marshmallow. It was better than the dog
biscuits I used to take and eat when my parents were not looking.
So you see that is why I love the snickers candy bar today. My
fondest memory as a child became my fondest chocolate bar as an adult.
Grandma Ann has now moved onto tootsie pops. Whenever my children
hear the word tootsie pops they think of Gee Gee.
Another generation, a different candy, but same great Lady My Grandma Ann.
