Seller Secret: Home Staging is Key

By
Real Estate Agent with Susan Johnson Team

Staging your home when you’re trying to sell it can make the difference between getting an offer and getting passed by. When buyers enter your home, they need to be able to picture themselves living there. And don’t confuse staging with decorating. A decorator adds items to a space, while a stager will make a home appear fresher, cleaner and larger by de-cluttering and de-personalizing.

As Susan Johnson & Associates, we have three certified home stagers on our team. See the video below for some great information on how staging your home can help you sell faster and for more money.

I'm a real estate investor that fixes and flips.  I'm also a realtor and a design geek so I stage all of my vacant properties, I couldn't imagine selling them any other way.  I just wish they would unstage themselves at the end of the job, it's a little sad to move everything out.
