Let's face it. 2007 was a trying year for realtors and mortgage broker and homesellers too. But the past is the past . We all have to look at the circumstances now to be positive. First, the rates are really low and they are predicting that they will be going even lower. Second, a lot of prices of homes .have already come down and buyers can get a good deal. Homeowners, if they are reasonable with their price have a good chance of getting a buyer.
As far as us realtors go where can you work in a business that is always exciting, never boring, changes from day to day. I love this business because I am an adventurous person who cannot spend my day sitting in an office from 9 to 5. I like dealing with people and lets face it you meet all kinds (mostly good). You can have some flexibility in your schedule and you are your own boss. When a deal does come together and close the money is great . Real estate keeps my heart pumping, gives me a rush, allows me some time for my first great passion - running. I say lets toast to a prosperous 2008 - our positive outlooks will bring us prosperity.
