Paying rent by the night?

Who’s paying rent to live by the day? I’m shocked!

This is a must see video, I really wanted to share this with AR…. Is this crazy logic, or does this look right to you, renting by the night? The money seems great, but the turn-over seems like a nightmare for owners! I can’t imagine the headache & turn over cost is renting to individuals by the night…Maybe I’m old school, I can’t possible see this working for me and my business…. I’m completely amazed at the per night rent charges.  I own many apartment buildings; I can’t imagine trying to rent over 300 individual units nightly; renting them month to month is a chore, I can’t imagine doing it by night…

If nothing else, I think this provides information worth debating….. The report claims renting units out by the night at $59 and up per night and up to $6500 per night, that’s serious money….

Think about what’s right and then do it; I say; “It’s harder to do the wrong thing verses doing the right thing”

I have used Air BnB several times this year,  stayed in some nice homes.

Better than a hotel!

Jon, I think it's risky. I wouldn't do it , how do you know the person you're renting from or who's renting from you? I could see renting a car by the hour if I were a tourist somewhere, but not as a lifestyle.

Not sure I'm crazy about the concept but I do see how it could work.

Pete~ I think it's great you've used Air BnB..I just don't understand how this works for the owners...Just because you're a good tenant, does not mean they're all like you??? I need to understand it way better....

Thanks for letting me know your experience with Air BnB..

Pamela~ You're so right, it's seems very risky!!!

R.M.~ I want to know;  "am I getting into the Motel business"? What's next, renting by the minuet...

I know you're enjoying your trip, I'm sure it's a big party!!!!
