A little over a month ago, I acquired a 1920's Rattan Furniture Set that was in need of some TLC. The first call I made was to Ruth Moore from Create-A-Scene. Ruth has slip covered many, many pieces of furniture in my current home. I've known her for two decades. Her work is perfection. ( she doesn't work any other way!) Love that!!!
So this is the set I acquired.
As you can see it is need of a face lift. So I put it in the driveway used good old fashioned soap and water to bring out the wonderful patina in the three pieces. No need to paint it...it was perfect just the way it was. So all I needed was to remove the old cushions, and reupholster the bases and it would be good as new.
As you can see her workmanship is top notch. A little secret she gave me. A king coverlet can be approximately 6.5 yards. This sofa set was completed with two matlesee coverlets from Home Goods that cost ne $49.00 each! This is the end result.
If you are looking for a good slip cover person, give Ruth Moore of Create-A-Scene a call. Here workmanship and service is top notch! I highly recommend Ruth, she has done work for me for years.
