Kentlands Board Seeking Volunteers for Treasurer and Trustee Positions

 

August 1st Deadline

 

This notice was published by the Kentlands Board:

 

The Board would like to take this opportunity to seek Kentlands residents who may be interested in serving as a Trustee for the Kentlands Citizens Assembly. There are two open positions: one as Treasurer and one as Trustee. A description of the duties of a Trustee can be found at the link for the Board of Trustees in the right-hand column of this newsletter.

 

Interested residents are invited to contact CMC General Manager, Randy Fox, at rfox@cmc-management.com by sending a resume and a short letter stating a desire to be on the Board and a brief description of qualifications or background. Submission deadline is August 1, 2012 by 5:00 pm.  Candidates will be interviewed at a Board of Trustees meeting on August 15 at 7:00 pm.

Hi Roy, If the job of Trustee was to be given to a person that does an excellent job in promoting the community and helping to put it on the map, there could be no better trustee than yourself. So fill in that application, you deserve that most prestigious position.

A long time ago, during a sermon, a priest challenged me, and the rest of our congregation, that if we were not part of the solution, then we were part of the problem... Local people need to get involved in such things as the Kentlands Citizen Assembly.  Great local service, Roy.
