Historical Homes for Sale | Night Life in Mckinney, TX

There's something unique about the renovation of a historical home...but also of the historical district in general.  Whether it's the history, the charm, or the style, you'll find it in Mckinney.  Mckinney actually has one of the oldest historic "downtowns" in the entire state of Texas.  Within walking distance, you will find over 100 shops and venues, art botiques and galleries, and amazing restaurants.  (One of my favorites is the Mckinney Performing Arts Center; I just love the architecture of this building!).

If you are looking for night life, fear not;  there is always something to do in this area!  (Whether you are looking for a great patio, an upscale venue, or a wine-tasting, you will definitely find it here!).  Within walking distance, you will find "The Grotto", (Live Music), "Sauce" (Sauce on the Square), "Rick's Chophouse", "Cafe Malaga" (A Spanish-Style Tapas Restaurant), "Gregory's Bistro" (more romantic, but casual...and byob), and "La Misha", a European / Mediterranean bistro,  just to name a few...

The entertainment, the growth of the city in general, and exemplary-rated schools make for a fun, great place to live!

Let's explore a few homes for Sale in the Mckinney Historic District:

Listed at $305,000, this home was built in 1860 and was renovated to maintain a lot of it's "old-world" charm.  The lot itself is huge and even has room for a pool!

This "diamond-in-the-rough" motivated-seller home is listed at a whopping $275,000 and is 3653 sf.  This home has a workshop, a cellar, AND a green room on a huge, corner lot!

Last, but not least is my personal favorite interior renovation, built in 1895.  This home is as unique as they come and for sale for $245,000!  Check out some of the gothic-inspired rooms below:
