My Best Real Estate Lead Generating Website: ActiveRain

 

For those of you that are active in ActiveRain and committed to utilizing its numerous resources, this blog probably isn't much of an interest.  However, if you are like me and find yourself constantly looking for the best lead generating tools, particularly leads captured from potential clients searching the internet for what you have to offer them, ActiveRain is by far one of my favorite lead generating websites!  Here's why.

 

When I started in real estate, I kept searching for  the "one thing" that would give me all the leads I wanted.  I still haven't found that "one thing", but I've found my best 10 and I do all 10 of them.  One of my best lead capture sites is ActiveRain and it accounts for over 25% of my direct quarterly leads - more if you count the referrals I get from clients that I gotten in the past.

 

Here are my top three reasons ActiveRain is my favorite lead capture website!

No, this isn't a typo.  I specialize in short sales and no cost 3rd party short sale negotiations for agents.  So when  someone searches Google for certain keywords that pertain to my business, I want to be as close to the top of Google's organic list as I can.  One of the best ways to do that is to blog using specific keywords that correspond to what information potential clients are looking for.

I try to blog multiple times per week - not always successful, but I try.  I know it can be a pain, but the results speak for themselves.  Utilizing ActiveRain's Search Engine Optimization (SEO) boost (ActiveRain members write 1000s of blogs per month) allows for a much higher exposure on Google than you could ever get on your own single blog site. You can't find more Tips, Tricks or Valuable Information from a single source as you can on ActiveRain.  Or, a more helpful group of people - staff and members.  ActiveRain currently has a membership of over 220,000 real estate professionals that have generated more than 2,000,000 total blogs.  In addition, there are over 8,000 specific topic groups such as ActiveRain Newbies (12,700 Subscribers and 88,688 blog posts) and On-Line Marketing Group (6339 Subscribers and 12,793 blog posts) to name just a few.

In addition to the resources, the networking ability is invaluable to me.  As my websites can generate leads outside my market area, and state for that matter, the easy network and referral capability of ActiveRain means I can help more clients as well as increase my botton line.
