Branson North Entry

A much sought after area for many years has been Branson North. Located off of Hwy 248 just a mile or so from Hwy 65. About 100+ homes are located here in price ranges currently anywhere from 103,000-369,000. How come such a difference in price ranges? Many of the homes here were built in the mid 1970’s, others are newer construction with updated brick and stone homes built in the past several years.

Branson North has held its value well overall, still a much wanted location close to the “local side” of Branson.  Really within even walking distance to the local grocery, dry cleaners, and Cedar Ridge Elementary. By the way since it’s so close to school, parents love this neighborhood for kids. Most of the homes have large yards big trees, good neighbors and even its own little 1 acre park and play ground.  With an easy commute to just about anywhere in Branson, you are within 5 minutes to the Branson Landing, Dowtown also, and about 5 minutes to Hwy 76.

The styles of homes are generally ranch one level, especially the ones built in the 70’s others are 2 story, mostly brick, and the newer side is on Westwood Dr. and in the back  on Woodleigh.  Many professionals have called Branson North home, including doctors, teachers, and executives, also builders and retired folks.

Are the 1970’s homes in need of updates? Most of them are kept very well with manicured yards; there have been a couple foreclosures on the market that have sold, and a few in need of TLC. Those tend to sell quickly, and would be an excellent investment for a buyer.

Currently (July 29, 2012) there are seven homes on the market in Branson North. One is foreclosed at $103,000. Taxes are low too! One listing posted on MLS was $1060, this was a 1973, 1600 sqft home.

If you’re looking for a great investment or an upscale home, Branson North has a little of both that blends together well! To see homes listed in this area, please start your search now at the box on the left.
