Each list reveals the top 5 cities that satisfy specific requirements such as cost of living, income growth, population share, crime rate, health care, public schools,community services and cultural resources.
Coming in close behind Des Moine IA, They look for reasonable living costs, strong employment growth, high scores on education tests and proven to be tech savy. With a lower cost to live index, an unemployment rate at 4.8% and a median income more than 1.5 times the national average, were all listed as advantages of our area.
It was noted that a lack of sales or Income tax was also a large factor. In community categories Local event calenders were "chock full" of activities including Minor league baseball, hockey, the SEE Science center and the Currier Museum of Art.
Residents of this area are less than 1 hours drive to the Ocean, Lakes Region or White Mountains. Workers in the area have and enojoy a short commute. Some workers choose to trade a short commute to Boston for the NH lifestyle and a huge savings form MA income tax.
Manchester features a first rate regional airport with lots of direct flights for both business and families.
