If you are thinking about moving to Northern Virginia you might want to know what it looks like.
Well, it looks like City, Suburbs and Farms. We have alleys and dirt roads.
We have mountains, rivers, lots of trees and green grass (for those of you coming from the west).
(Oh...I almost forgot...we have the capital of the free world as a major suburb across the river.)
You can choose to live in apartment style condos, townhouses, single family homes or turn of the century cottages.
You can have a barn or a reserved spot in a parking garage.
You can have no yard or 100 acres. You can have a hamster or a horse.
You cannot however have an ocean BUT you can be at the Chesapeake Bay in 75 minutes from a goodly portion of Fairfax County.
The photo tour below is 4 minutes and 46 seconds long...too long by normal viewing standards BUT I figured that if you were moving here, that's a pretty quick 5 county tour. AND it DOES NOT have standard slideshow music!
Here are some of our favorite photos of home styles and neighborhoods taken in Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, Prince William and Fauquier counties.
