YOU HAVE A RIGHT TO TELL SOMEONE OFF
I feel this is well said and well aritten. Most of the time, it is better to take the high road and not say a thing. What is right and how we think and feel will not change most people or situations. Many times, a situation can get worse byt telling someone off, particularly in real estate.
But why would you want too? How will your speaking up make a difference to the situation? Will it help or hinder? Most of the time, we have selfish driven motives. Beware too of foot in mouth dis-ease. If beneficial, if you have something to say to someone, say it. You don't need to have a reason and you definitely do not want to be motivated by anger either. Just say it as UN-emotional as possible
THE RIGHT TO SPEAK
The right to speak up is taking for granted. You have to actually leave the country to find out what it is like to not have that right. Insisting on it while it makes sense may not be the way that country or circumstance is run.
FIRING SQUAD?
Bare in mind too that this "right" came at a high cost too. Speaking up prior to having a bill of rights or a Constitution was to say the least very risky. They called it Treason back then. Treason to the crown if we were under British rule..Keep spouting off and it went to HIGH Treason...whoa
THE MOUTH
I have seen people tell others off and take a questionable situation and make it definitely worse. The mouth can do much harm or good depending on the inclination of the one who powers it. A kind word goes along way while a spicy one stirs the pot of chance
CONTEMPT OF COURT
An act of disobedience or disregard if done under the jurisdiction of a judge is called contempt for the court and at the judges discretion, you can be held to answer for the slight. If arguing with someone outside of court, you risk alienation, retaliation or questionable results if not on solid ground
GOT GUILT?
It is worthy to note at this time that wrong choices causes guilt and while you may be able to exercise the freedom to speak, if done incorrectly or with less than pure motives, you will now have a guilty issue. It becomes your personal problem until you confess the error. Your conscience will guide you here
DON'T GET BITTEN
Use your right to speak up in a healthy productive manner so that it does much good and it doesn't end up taking a bite out of you
