When GO means WAIT....

Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX United

GO means GO right? When a listing is set to GO it is usually for a vacant property or new construction - with the understanding that the property can be shown at ANY time ... GO AHEAD AND SHOW. Lately I have tried to show many properties that were set as GO and have been forced to WAIT. I schedule my showings with CSS online or on the APP on my phone and am furious when a home is shown as GO and when I try to schedule a showing it tells me that 1 hour notice is required! I am then forced to call CSS to override and get the showing code so that I can show it to my clients when we requested. Unneccessary waiting that can stop a potential buyer from seeing the home.

Hi K.C.,

I hear your frustration.  Showings should be 'challenge free' as much as possible.  Best of success to you this year!

I love the lockbox vacant and when you go inside I have found a friend of the owner sleeping and using the home for vacation.  I don't know who was more surprised the guess or me...

I was confirmed to show two homes this past weekend and a few minutes before the showing they called to say that it is not good for sellers.
