Should Sarasota Property Managers Disclose That a House Is Haunted?
Florida Code Chapter 689.25 states that the owner, or agent, of real property is not compelled to reveal that "the property was, or was at any time suspected to have been, the site of a homicide, suicide, or death." While not specifically addressing "hauntings," the law is commonly applied to what are know as "stigmatized properties," which would presumably cover hauntings.
On the other hand, some states do actually require such disclosures!
