When making video's, lighting is a fairly important factor, and sometimes it helps you look good.
One of the very basic pieces of equipment, a videographer should have in the kit, is a keylight. And here is how to use one of those.
Essentially, the keylight ads front illumination, both to light up the subject, but also to provide a reflection in eyes and such, that makes the subject pop more.
The keylight I am showing you today, is very reasonably priced at $30 - and you can grab one at target of all places... It also uses just two AAA cells, so it doesn't have a huge power thirst - in addition to that, it is an LED light, so expect 50,000 hours of life (yes, right when you run through one of these - let me know).
