SEAFAIR 2012 Lake City Pioneer Days and Nearby Homes for Sale
Yesterday morning I got an email update from the Lake City Live Blog about Pioneer Days in the 40's and 50's. In case you don't know, Lake City is the north eastern district within Seattle City limits. During Seafair they celebrat big time with Pioneer Days, a local festival that includes a salmon bake, model railroad, a street fail, vintage car show, and of course 2 parades on Saturday night.
Nearby Homes for Sale in the greater Lake City area - (roughly from NE 145th on the north; Northgate Way to Lake City Way, down 35th NE to around 95th then down Sand Point Way to Matthews Beach on the south; I-5 on the west, and Lake Washington on the east) The prices range from around $172,000 on the low side to $930,000 at the top. In the last 6 months sold listings ranged from $128,156 to $1,235,000. Condos for sale are going from $79,000 to $249,950 with sales from $43,700 to $225,000. So you can see that there is mix of properties priced well within the "affordability" range on up to lovely high end view and waterfront homes. The nearby neighborhoods are: Cascade Hills, Cedar Park, Meadow Brook, Jackson Park (golf course here!), Pinehurst, Victory Heights and Matthews Beach.
Over the next few weeks I will be highlighting each of these neighborhoods, but for today - check out the Festival! And if you want to search for homes nearby (or any where else in Seattle) sign up on my web page:
