The Ugly Side of Investors!homes for sale vancouver wa

Two weeks ago I had a Trickster Investor who thought that she was going to get the best of me. She called on a property that we have listed and demanded to see it right away. I knew that the property was about a week from it scheduled auction date so I was suspicious. I agreed to show it to her after she met me at my office with a pre approval letter from a reputable lender.

“WHAT?!” She screamed into the phone. “Does the seller know that you refuse to show their home to qualified buyers?”

“I am not refusing to show you the home.” I calmly replied. “I will gladly show it to you right after you meet me at my office so that I can see your pre approval letter and verify that you are qualified.”

“Click!” She hung up on me.

The next morning I received a call from my team leader who seemed a little upset with me. He went on to tell me that a person called the office to complain that I wouldn’t show one of my listings! We were laughing by time we hung up. He couldn’t believe the things that people will do to try to get access to these distressed homes.

So what did she expect to accomplish? The owner was going to be there and hand her the keys. If it was about to go to auction, the owner was probably so far underwater that he wasn't going to see money from the sale anyway.
