I am not trying to boast at all but I seem to be busier than ever.  Yes I am more structured now but I don't see the easing off Real Estate like the newspapers love to report.  I am busier than ever and feeling very Blessed.  What do you think?

Hi Donna! Our society is mobile. There are both buyers and sellers in any given market at any given time. The blessings you are reaping are a result of your hard work, referrals from past clients and sheer diligence. Great agents are always busy.

I'm not as busy as I would like to be. However, 2007 was a good year for me. Hopefully 2008 will be even better.  The better agents are still in business.

Well Donna, That is good news for you in Lancaster. But in So. Orange County, CA, my business is very slow. I do have interested clients but none seem to want to buy just now. Better hope for the future.

Donna, that is awesome. Please keep spreading the positive news. I have been busy also. Some of it ,I feel, I can easily credit to my "buckling down". I am working so hard and it is beginning to pay off. Don't keep it to yourself!!!! Quick...tell everyone:) There is hope!

Donna - You aren't alone ... my market is going very strong and I haven't had any real down time since before Christmas.

I have 2 closings this week, 1 pending (had 2 but one didn't work out) and a Sizzlin' HOT buyer for a property I just listed last night. I am currently busting hump for at least 4 other buyers and I can honestly say that, "It isn't a matter of "If" it's a matter of When". All 4 are ready, willing and able buyers & it's just a matter of matching them with the right property. Area agents are showing my listings like crazy and again, it's just a matter of when because I know they are priced to sell. I too feel extremely blessed to be in a market such as this!

I do agree that demographics play a key role in this but I'm most certainly NOT complaining.
Good Luck to EVERYONE in 2008.

As long as people are buying and selling in any market the good realtors stay busy. Our market has been soft for 3yrs and I have had great success so congrats and keep enjoying your success. The media have their own agenda....upcoming elections maybe? Have a prosperous 2008

I am in the same boat.  After a quiet November and December, which I tried to enjoy, I am off to a busy start to 2008!  Several transactions already in process, several clients gearing up to buy or sell, and even a few new clients who have appeared out of the blue in response to my blogging.  2008 is looking pretty good so far!

Its still sluggish in the Northwest but buyers are here, we are doing fine and maintaining and NOT complaining when clients ask how the market it, everyone hears the same news and so its not surprising, but no one likes a whiner! So we are upbeat.  I have written a sale every weekend this year already and I consider us active and successful Realtors with strong client base and intend on being in the business a long time.

Cathy- Wow...I am so glad to hear all of this fantastic news!! Why is it that the "whiners" as you say are so loud?!?! And it appears they know everyone:) I love hearing good news. I think we should blog out loud every time we write a sale...I am writing a letter to the editor of my local newspaper about this very thing...Go ahead...be happy, be loud about it and be successful!
