Monday Morning Motivation,...Take That Time Or Crash And Burn.

By
Real Estate Agent with First Weber Inc WI LIC #125698

Did you know,...

That if you don't take time to refresh and rejuvenate your body, spirit and mind your energy will zap you into doing just that?

Take that time or crash and burn.

That if you don't make a call, send that e-mail, set up that search, nothing will happen?

Take that time or crash and burn.

That if you don't pay attention to the details, contingencies, and forms you or your client will pay?

Take that time or crash and burn.

That if you reach out, you will find help.  Listen to your gut as to who you trust to help you.

Take that time or crash and burn.

That if you give, give fully without expecting anything in return.

You will find yourself surrounded with people of quality.

Take that time and be grateful and you will never crash and burn.

Home is where the hearth is.

Your body has a way of getting what it needs from you.  And if you ignore the signals that your body sends... well, it has it's way of getting the message across.

Great post Laura. Nothing wrong with slowing down and it is certainly good for us. The other extreme, haste makes waste and leads to errors and all sorts of ill consequences.

Great words to live by.  I find the day goes smoother if I first start out taking care or myself, i.e. working out before I start tackling the things left on my plate from the day before.

Even though I am just reading this post; I did what it says today. I took time for a break. If you work too rapid fired fast you will make mistakes that may cost a lot later on.

Hi Laura.  I did not take the time and I did crash and burn with a heart attack.  Life changer.

That is so true Ed!  No crashing and burning in your future I hope.

Thank you so much Joanna.  Hey, how did your trip to WI go?

Kristin, now that I got a little rest and organized again I will.  I crashed and burned hard Sunday afternoon.

Sharon Lee, I'm afraid I did not do all that well in the rest department, which caused a domino effect.  But I am doing better now.

Good morning Wayne and Jean, I am glad it was just what you needed.  I hope you have a wonderful week!

Oh does it ever Alan!  I crashed and burned hard Sunday afternoon.

Absolutely Gary!  The attention to detail is so important in what we do.

I have no doubt tomorrow will bring something better for you Tatyana.  You are one very smart woman and you will know how to work this difficult buyer through the situation.  Wishing you all the best!

Life goes by so swiftly Patsy.  This summer was way too much work and not near enough play for me.  Time to schedule in some time off.

Paula I have fallen out of that habit and oh can I tell.  Time to get back to it!  It makes the world of difference in how I feel throughout the day.  Thank you.

Good morning Juli,  We all need a little reminder to slow down once in a while.  Oh Monday's are soooo tough!

Oh you lucky duck Dorrie!  I hope it is some wonderfully romantic or fun place you are heading to.  Enjoy every moment of it and create some wonderful memories!

Ha ha Ellen, what are you saying?  You don't like hearing me huff and puff on the phone or that you get lost and end up in scary neighborhoods?

Oh me too Shar!  I came home from showing homes on Sunday, slept for a couple of hours, tried to get off the couch but only made it to my bed quite early.  Slept and slept and slept!

That is absolutely true Sussie!  Good for you for taking some time to slow down.  I am terrible about that.  I am usually the rabbit in the race rather than the tortuous.  And well, you know how that worked out!

I bet that was Webster.  And I am so happy you are around now to remind us to take care of ourselves!

Laura, I agree that we all need down "time" and hopefully I'll be able to find a little of that towards the end of the year..."crash and burn" sounds good right about now.

Go ahead and guess what inspired this blog Nick?  Yep, I crashed and burned hard on Sunday!  My body just wouldn't go one more minute.  But I'm doing better now and while I am so very tired, I am really enjoying all the business and knowledge I am gaining.  Wishing you the very best!  :)

Laura, you really are doing great up there. I'm finally at the point where I need to hire an assistant or maybe share one with another agent in the office. It's good for me to be busy...I just work better that way, but sometime it can definitely get to be too much. I haven't had a day off since before last Christmas...wanted to go to Chicago this weekend, but can't...too busy. A crash and burn is just around the corner.

Yeah, I'll learn that lesson someday Sharon Lee!  :)

Awe Nick, don't crash and burn!  Try to get a little time to yourself.  You know, I am always looking for an excuse to come to the Windy City.  If you do come up, you and your wife have got to let me know!  Perhaps we could set up a little AR meet up and meet Alan May, and a few others!  Maybe things will slow down just a little bit in October (Autumn is so amazing here!).
