This month is special to me. It is an Anniversary that I can celebrate as a Full Time Home Inspector. I obtained my General Contractor’s License in 1984 and had a career building custom homes for over 20 years. When the economy took a downfall, the construction industry also suffered. I had become licensed as a Home Inspector in North Carolina 1998, but stayed busy as a General Contractor and did not do Home Inspections as a main source of income. By summer of 2009, construction had come to a standstill in the area I lived, and I was in dire need of bringing in some income for my family. The Real Estate market was at an all time low also, but with my construction experience I decided to pursue Home Inspections. I visited Real Estate offices in every direction – North, South, East and West, meeting agents and leaving materials. My first Home Inspection, in Business as a Full Time Home Inspector, was August 1, 2009.
Since that time, I have had the pleasure of meeting and serving dozens of Real Estate Agents. I also sincerely enjoy meeting the buyers that I do the Home Inspections for. In my market, most of the clients I serve are Military, many in Special Forces, and have often been in Afghanistan or other dangerous areas around the globe. They have remarkable stories and I appreciate each and every one of them. I hold our military in high regard for all they do for our country.
I am glad that I chose to switch my full time work from Custom Building to Home Inspections. It is a much more rewarding occupation. I enjoy what I do and I am good at what I do. I enjoy helping people with the purchase of their home. You can read testimonials from satisfied customers at my personal website – www.carolinasbesthomeinspections.com
I thank God for the work he sends each week to sustain my family. He is Faithful!
Earl Payne.
