Craig's Classroom - you know the name from my blog. My classroom also has a premium channel where you get to sit with me (virtually) as I can specifially "show you how" to leverage various tech tips and techniques to help you in your business.
For this channel, I'm happy to announce that admission is now open in my second course
"Video Essentials for Business"
(Graphics for Bloggers was my first offered course, and registration is open for both).
In my video class, I help you over the hurdle of producing videos that you can post to your YouTube channel to market yourself as the one that people want to turn to when they need professional services! I know you love watching videos, we all do. Better yet, how much would you love having people watch YOUR videos! You first have to have videos out there to watch.
In the course, I take you first through all the essential basics so you have the foundation stepping stones properly laid. There are plenty doing video poorly, I'm not going to settle for that! Once past that we get into some more comprehensive topics. So this course is for all skill levels.
Need a little inspiration of what you can do with video? Check out my inspiration page for ideas of what you will also be able to accomplish when you are through with my course.
I am a Windows PC and Android kind of guy. I have invited as guest instructor, Debb Janes who is a pro with Mac with iMovie and iPhone. Together we team up and have all the bases covered for you no matter where you fall in the scheme of things. In the course, I teach Windows Live Movie Maker and also Sony Vegas Movie Studio and Debb teaches iMovie. All along in the course, I will be teaching core concepts and techniques both in camera usage and for video editing. We also cover SEO, google loves videos in search engine results. Most people do SEO wrong, you won't be one. YouTube is also the second largest search engine where people look for answers.
In real estate video, it has been surveyed (NAR 2009) and 73% of sellers responded they would like their agent to use video in marketing their home, yet only 1% of agents were using video. Those numbers are a few years back, but the gap is still enormous - the potential to fill that gap is yours to take!
Will we see you in class? I hope so! :)
2019 update: this course page is now offline. If you would be intrested in enrolling in a version 2 of this course, be sure and leave me a comment. Also, I suggest subscribing to my blog if you haven't already so you can see future blog posts about video and other tech topics!
