I'm traveling a Slow Boat to China and my will is waning.
When you're a South Florida Short Sale Realtor, you can only exist with the attitude present of "When there's a will, there's a way" - but really, really?
Representing a Coral Springs Short Sale Seller you must believe that "when there's a will, there's a way", as you will be told "No" more times than a young mother tells their toddler "No'. However, I've reached a point on a Freddie Mac Short Sale where my will keeps hitting a brick wall making my way very difficult to accomplish. I'm negotiating a Coral Springs Short Sale that has been going on for nearly one year, yes, you heard me right, one year. This is my one and only Short Sale that has ever taken so long and believe me, I've listed and closed on a lot of Short Sales.
We're being told by the servicer that Freddie Mac's Short Sales are very time consuming and they don't do this and they don't do that and they don't extend closings and they don't extend HAFA Short Sale Agreements. Really? Who is Freddie Mac? "The Boss" of Investor Land?
Ever wonder why the housing industry has been in such a mess when we have these massive organizations essentially forgetting what it's like to play well with others, particularly in a struggling economy.
Well, they have not broken my will but, they have given me high blood pressure!
Hi Lynn,
Wow - a year and still waiting. Short sales are so challenging but this one goes beyond challenging. It's a blessing that the buyer is still hanging in there. Continue to persevere and blast over every hurdle. Your closing day is coming. And you will have a story to tell for years to come on this transaction.
Best of success to you this year!
Hi Jordan, I know, isn't it incredible?! Yes, the Buyer really wants this home and is hanging on, thank goodness.
It sound to me me like you service your clients to the utmost of your ability and with what ever amount of patients is required. All the while knowing full well that you will be suffering and stressing in ways they will never see. You are what I would call a professional RE Agent. Good job Lynn.
Thanks Dale. You made my day with your comments! Yes, I do go above and beyond the call of duty when servicing my customers, always have been a customer advocate and you're right there are many behind the scenes activities that they have no clue about what I'm doing but I get it done.
