Reports are coming out daily that housing prices, new building and activity are up across the board in most markets across the country.

In the Denver Metro a recent article by the Denver Business Journal quoted a 9% year over year gain. In an earlier article if you keep reading you can see that some analysist are even saying the housing slump in Denver MAY BE OVER! 

Finally some good NEWS for the housing market. They are only stating in these articles what we Realtors have been talking about and covering in our office meetings for over 12 months. I think most active Realtors in the Denver Metro noticed the change starting over a year ago.

I’m sure the media wanted to give it some time before spreading the word in case we as Realtors were just crying wolf or blowing smoke to try and generate business.

Well, the business is here and homes are selling at a record pace so buy now or sit back and wait 12 months. It’s your call but remember the prices right now might look darn sweet in 12 months when they are 8-10% higher.
