Marchel - I love the way you put this post together.  Someone thinking of moving to the area would really get a sense of the community.

Ryan, I obviously could not have put this together without your help.  Thanks for literally walking me through the process.

Jennifer, Thanks! I have to give Ryan the credit for helping me with the graphs.  Augusta Pines is a wonderful community.  There is truly something for everyone.

I love this report.  It looks great and has a lot of good information in it.  Looks like ur days on the market are not too bad either compared with some other parts of the country.

Hi Marchel:  This is just wonderful.  Augusta Pines looks like such a wonderful place to live.  I am curious as to what the least expensive home at $189,900 looks like.  Thanks so much for sharing.  Take care...

Marchel,
Great job with the market report, adding photos really makes it more appealing.  I'm stealing your idea for my next one.  OK?

Kimberly, you are right the days on the market are not bad.  They are a little bit skewed also.  It is much harder to sell a million dollar home than a $200,000 home so those big homes stay on the market a lot longer; which kind of skews the days on the market.

This is my first time to use this particular foremat for my market report so thanks for the complement.

Karen Ann, the smallest home is a brand new home under construction.  Ashton Woods is the builder.  It has almost 2100 square feet with 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathroom and a two car garage.  It is on a subdivision lot but according to the description backs up to trees and woods.  Who knows if the trees and woods will last though as we are in a very growing area.

You can still get a deal in our area compared to other parts of the country.  I think our market is somewhat similar to your Fort Worth market.  I have not had customers move to Fort Worth but I have had them move to suburbs of Dallas.

Marchel - This is a great report but more important, this is a wonderful review of the area. The pictures are beautiful and the description of the community makes me want to visit.

Cynthia, you are welcome to steal my idea.  I personally think market reports with out pictures are BORING!  I have usually used two pictures but in changing the format of my market report three worked out this time.

Andrew Thanks!  Ryan was the one who helped me through those Excel graphs.  As Ryan will attest Excel has not been my friend but I am trying to make it a friend and not a foe.  You would not believe how many times I emailed him asking him what I know were really simple questions but they were not so simple for me (lol).  I still have to learn how to get a line around the graphs.  You can see that the top graph has a partial line and then it disappers.  There is ALWAYS something to learn!

At least I know how to do the basic graph now so the next one should be easier.

Ginger, Thanks!!  They were done in Excel but totally with Ryan Hukills help.  To get the color I had to do a screen shot and believe me it took me out of my comfort zone.  I need to make Excel my friend.  I took a class in Access once and regret that I chose Access instead of Excel.

Elizabeth, I just love our Spring TX area.  Growing up in Kansas I really love living around trees.  We lived in Greensboro for a short time and I know North Carolina has tons of tress.  There was almost too many trees there for me.  I guess coming from Kansas I love those wide open spaces also.  Spring is a wonderul mixture of wide open spaces and lots of trees.  Augusta Pines is a wonderful representation of what we have available in the Spring area.

Shellee, I just got back from having lunch with my son at Augusta Pines and I think that is a GREAT idea. They are one of the few places that have green grass as they put down that rye winter grass.  We walked around while there and I saw several possibilities for pictures.  Now I guess we just need a day with the sun and I don't think it is going to be this week in looking at the weather.
