Pollock Pines, CA 95726 - Sportsman's Hall
Sportsman's Hall in Pollock Pines, California is open Monday to Thursday from 8am to 8pm, Friday and Saturday from 8am to 9pm and Sunday from 7am to 9pm. It is a pretty cool and convenient place to stop for a quick meal if you're traveling on Highway 50, midway between Sacramento and South Lake Tahoe. Sportsman's Hall is known as California Landmark 704 and was "California's only home station where riders changed on the Pony Express Trail."
Bob and I stopped in for breakfast on our way to Hot August Nights in South Lake Tahoe a couple of weeks ago. Service was very friendly, the food was pretty good, and it was a great place to stop on a motorcycle ride!
