City of Brampton Global Jazz & Blues Festival August 9th ttil 12th, 2012
The blues will hit downtown Brampton tonight August 9th through the 12th. We're not talking down in the dumps blues, no we are talking about the Global Jazz & Blues Festival and it will be fantastic!
It all kicks off at 7:00 p.m. August 9th at Gage Park (located at the corner of Main St. & Wellington). The musical sounds will continue through out the weekend at Ken Willians Square, the Rose Garden Square and the Rose Theatre.
You can join in on the films and workshops with artists Branford Marsalis, Sachal Vasandani, Vijay Iyer and take in drumming workshops with Funkadesi! Most are free some have a fee of $15 - $75.00.
Bring the family, the lawn chairs and enjoy!

It has been a rainy start to the Festival Anita, but it was amazing to see the turn out that came anyway.
