You know, there are people that you meet that you just know the first time you meet them, you're going to just love them. Jennifer Monroe is one of those people. Jen is gracious and beautiful...from the inside out!
I met Jennifer and her, now, fiance, Jason Sardi through ActiveRain many moons ago. Jennifer is one of those inspirational writers--you want to read every single word just to be sure you don't miss a thing that she writes! You simply must check out her blog!
About a year ago, Jennifer reached out to me via email, saying that she and Jason were thinking of moving to North Carolina. She wanted to know more about Charlotte and if any of you have read my blog for longer than a day, you know that I am in LOVE with Charlotte! So, needless to say, I had no problems sharing my passion for the city and 'luring' Jen and Jason to Charlotte for a few days to tour the city and look at a few homes here.
Lo and behold, they wound up moving into a cute, CUTE home here that is within walking distance to my office. They attended one of the ActiveRain parties at our office--on their moving day, in fact! They just seemed to fit right in to Elizabeth (the community in which they now reside). And, Jason & Jen have met my husband, who is truly crazy about the two of them!
Fast forward a year--Jen is missing the real estate business, for which she has a passion that cannot be squelched! She is pursuing her North Carolina license (coming from Oregon, there is a good deal of red tape and testing required) and cannot wait to be back in the business in a full-time capacity.
I, on the other hand, am working double-time in the business and REALLY needed to find someone to help with my own business. SO, I met Jen for lunch at Loco Lime, a popular Mexican restaurant, also in walking distance of Jen's Elizabeth home, and proposed a partnership.
Loco Lime will never have the same meaning to me now! Over lunch Jennifer agreed to work with me and has already begun solving problems for me..and this is only DAY-1! I cannot tell you how honored I am to have Jen join the fabulous Savvy team and can't wait to be up-to-speed with our day-to-day routines (if there is such an animal in this business)!
Yet another true, ActiveRain blessing. I've lost count of the ways that ActiveRain has changed my life and my business. Welcome to Charlotte Jennifer Monroe--and to The Maxwell House Group!
