Looks like here in California we are begaining to see lenders that are starting to comply with the resently passed Homeowners Bill of Rights.

My latest listing is a Temecula Short Sale and the homeowner has a mortgage with Citibank.Once I submitted the 3rd party authorization letter to their lender it generated a prompt response to the seller with the letter below. My Temecula Short Sale client and I now have a single point of contact with Citibank and in writing a commitment for a 10 day decision.

Homeowners Bill of Rights

A 10 day decision! It will never happen. But maybe this Temecula short sale will proceed faster to an approval having a single point of contact throughout this short sale process.
