I’m running out of Coweta County real estate listings … and that’s a good thing! Lately there has been a surge of home sales in Coweta County Georgia and I am running out of inventory.

We still have excellent home prices and when combined with record low interest rates, both owner-occupants and investors are gobbling up every available viable property that hits the market.

Competition for the best properties is keen, and in many cases, sellers are enjoying a “highest and best” scenario.

I am retooling my marketing towards getting more listings, because buyers are plentiful and ravenous.

And I need inventory to satisfy them!

What I heard from my last two home buyers was:

"With home prices so low and interest rates so low. . . . ."

Or, something to that effect.

It appears that prospective buyers are finally getting the message.

It's unlikely to happen in the short-term but think what it would be like if interest rates ticked up and buyer's started thinking they might lose out on these record low rates.  We may even see a jump in home values in this area.

I hear you and I'm in the same boat.  I've been so busy with buyers I've let my inventory really get low.  It's time to get out there and list!  You know the ole saying.... "List or loose!"  Neither one of us want that!  Go get em in Georgia!

Inventory does seem to running a might low these days :)!  This is really a good time for both sellers and buyers!  Sellers who need to sell and are ready to be realistic need to get their home on the market pronto :)!

We have been in the same situation for about 10 months now.  It has been nice for the sellers and very tough for the home buyers--sellers have also been far and few between compared to the past.  We are sticking around 1 1/2 month supply of homes on the market

Richard, Selling our listings is a very good thing and means that sellers sitting on the fence wondering if they can sell need to jump in now.

WE havea  few more than last year, bu tthe heat had the buyers sitting by the ppol staying cool.  Now theya re jsut starting to look again..  Inventorywill go down fast now.
