EDMOND - The Edmond Planning Commission approved a site plan request 4-0 by real estate agent Darren Webb this week to convert a single family home into a real estate office.
The one-story house was built in 1963 and is located on 1.2 acres of property at 2101 N. Santa Fe, one-half mile north of Danforth, said Bob Schiermeyer, city planner. Only 1,000 square feet of the 2,064-square-foot house will be used for an office with the rest used as a home.
No light poles will be added and detention will not be necessary.
“This is a pretty good situation because they’re not making a lot of changes, so there’s nothing that’s going to look a lot different,” Schiermeyer said. “They are going to install a commercial driveway and some turnarounds the Fire Department requested.”
No further action is necessary on the item.
