Home staging is worth the work

By
Real Estate Sales Representative with Diana Geremia Real Estate

Whenever I stage a home, I will have to admit, I don't look forward to the work.

When it's all's done though, I definitely feel a sense of accomplishment knowing that my listing now has the best  chance of increasing the bottom line for my clients. According to www.stagedhomes.com, a leader in the industry, "statistics show an average of a 3% increase in final sales price on a home that has been staged versus those that have not. On a $300,000 home, that's a $9.000 increase!"

For more info on the staging I offer please check out my website page:  Free Home Staging

You are so, so right about the importance of staging a home well. It makes such a huge difference in the price and length of time on the market.

Hi Diana,  I also am a Realtor who stages all my listings.  Since I know it works, to not stage the listing would be like showing my rental properties not cleaned up. Oh, what am I saying?   I stage my rental properties after they are cleaned up.  Staging rentals makes prospective tenants eyes light up.  They simply are not used to seeing clean, appealing rentals!
